  3. @09@We currently receive several types of weather maps through our
  4. Planet Connect satellite service. We make these available to our
  5. users in several formats.
  6.  
  7. First we have 3 packages of PCX files in the raw form that we
  8. receive them.
  9.  
  10. Secondly, we have the individual maps, in both PCX and GIF
  11. formats. A viewer for the PCX format is available, and we
  12. assume that most all of you have some type of GIF viewer.
  13. If not, there are several in the Graphics Utilities file
  14. area. You may also find some TSRs that will allow you to
  15. view the GIFs as they are downloaded.

  17. Due to the varied schedule of Planet Connect from day to day, we
  18. check for new versions every 2 hours. We usually should see at
  19. least four revisions of the maps during the day.
